Sergio Lucarini, New Ikerbasque Research Fellow at BCMaterials
BCMaterials is happy to announce that Sergio Lucarini joined our center as new Ikerbasque Research Fellow at BCMaterials. Thanks to a notable academic training and experience in the field of micromechanics, Lucarini will help to enrich our research.
He completed his PhD at the Technical University of Madrid (IMDEA Materials Institute and University of California Los Angeles), subsequently worked as a postdoc at the Carlos III University of Madrid and was awarded a Marie Curie Individual Fellowship at Imperial College London.
Now at BCMaterials, Sergio will work to address the challenges related to the modeling of magneto/electroactive materials and advance in the understanding of multiphysics problems from a multiscale perspective.
